Leno Sympathizer Boycott

Seems everyone is boycotting Leno these days. But, really, it's easy enough to say you're boycotting Leno. If you're under 108 years old, you never watched him in the first place. But you know who really deserves a boycott? Those chumps that supported Leno throughout his embarrassing 10pm death-throws and his current less than graceful seizing of his former time-slot.

We want this to be interactive, because Crab Town doesn't have the time to find out all the demented Leno sympathizers, so if you put any in the comments, we'll put them on the list. Here's what we've got so far:

Jerry Seinfeld is certainly the most vocal member of this group lately. And I don't think it will be too tough to boycott The Marriage Ref.

That little loser “comedian” Jim Norton. This guy actually thinks Leno is funny. And he respects Leno for being the only late night host to touch the race issue. Fight the urge to watch any horrible reruns of HBO's Down and Dirty with Jim Norton.

Boycott NBC sports as they are the product of reject executive Dick Ebersol. This guy called Conan and Letterman "chicken-hearted and gutless" for their jokes about Leno, and attributed their dislike of Leno to professional jealousy. Hey Dick! What about EVERYONE'S dislike of Leno? We don't all compete against the guy. We just don't think he's ever been funny, and we feel that he lacks character.

And, just for fun, Julia Roberts. She did nothing to support Leno, but when Conan started up on the tonight show, she went on Letterman and insulted Conan's level of funny. I say an enemy of Conan is a friend of Leno. And we think it's fun blacklisting Julia Roberts. [Editor's Note: At the Golden Globes, shortly after we released this article, Julia Roberts publicly dissed the NBC network in general by saying that they are "in the toilet". Pretty cool, but we don't know if this gets her off the list or not. Probably not. Nice try, Julia.]

Suggestion from the comments:

Paul Reiser. (Thanks Travis!)
Kevin Eubanks. (Thanks Warren!)

Now it's your turn. Who else has supported Leno? Did you notice anyone else doing so? Mention them in the comments!

Also, if you feel left out, catch up on the war here: Gawker Link. The Kimmel on Leno one is the greatest moment in TV history.

Comments

Paul Reiser! Why,

I fear this is turning into a witch hunt.

Fairness

Yep. A fair and honourable witchhunt!

Kevin Eubanks

He laughs at EVERYTHING Leno says.
